Mission

One governed channel for official campus communication

Students need predictable information; staff need traceability. CampusConnext works alongside your Microsoft tenant, timetable systems, and SIS so day-to-day use can be consolidated in one authenticated application instead of many disconnected tools.

Principles

Requirements we apply before accepting a pilot

We decline requests that would weaken privacy, auditability, or student trust, including when procurement timelines are tight.

Institutional fit first

We integrate with Entra ID, your timetable system, SIS, and intranet tools such as SharePoint, according to what your stack mandates. Replacing the LMS is not on our roadmap; reducing shadow IT is.

Students as the primary design constraint

We still test with students, but product decisions must remain defensible for programme boards and data protection officers.

Privacy with verifiable controls

Card numbers remain on-device, refresh tokens rotate, and administrative actions are logged. Documentation is revised until data protection and security reviewers can follow each flow.

Transparent commercial terms

Per-student licensing, integration fees, and pilot scope are documented early. Pricing and scope remain consistent through procurement.

Roadmap

What we are building toward

The current release covers news, events, rosters, grades, and moderated community. Near-term work emphasises analytics for communications teams and additional governance controls.

Multi-institution rollouts in the Netherlands

Playbooks for faculty-first pilots, shared integration patterns for SURF-heavy stacks, and onboarding templates in Dutch and English.

Reach dashboards for communications

Cohort-level read rates, low-engagement alerts, and CSV exports that plug into your existing BI tools instead of inventing another data warehouse.

More SIS and LMS touchpoints

Additional SIS and LMS integrations where APIs exist, read-only LMS deep links, and optional push templates per faculty brand guidelines.

Configurable moderation policies

Fine-grained rules for who can post in academic channels, auto-lock windows during exams, and escalation paths that mirror your student conduct code.
